www.pcg.org.uk – Median are affiliate members of the PCG. In our opinion the PCG site is the most comprehensive around for contractors. Particularly useful is the 66 page free guide to contracting for first timers, whilst for more established contractors the dedicated legal and tax help lines should prove helpful.

www.contractoruk.co.uk - Contains much of the information available at the PCG but aimed specifically at IT contractors.

www.enterprisenation.co.uk – A more broad based site for UK home workers.

www.startbusiness.co.uk – Great if you are thinking of setting up as a contractor. Covers everything from ideas to funding.
